Digital Citizenship Workshop: Empowering Youth for Online Safety
Over 30 young people joined us at the Jane and Finch Community Centre to learn about online safety, digital footprints, cyberbullying prevention, and responsible social media use. Through interactive activities, real-world scenarios, and group discussions, participants gained practical tools to protect themselves online.

The workshop created a safe space where teens could ask questions, share concerns, and learn from each other’s perspectives. Facilitators led hands-on sessions covering password security, privacy settings, recognizing scams, and responding to cyberbullying.

Each participant left with a certificate of completion and a personalized Digital Safety Action Plan. Parents joined us for the final session to learn alongside their teens and receive resources for continuing conversations at home.
